Meet the Fort Lauderdale Team Behind Cold Harbour Heating and Air Fort Lauderdale

We’re a Fort Lauderdale crew, and most of us have been working in South Florida heat long enough to know exactly what a struggling AC sounds like before we even open the door. We’re independently owned and operated, part of the Kingswell network, which means we work to a written standard but we live in this city, we know its neighborhoods, and we know how fast a Fort Lauderdale house heats up in August when a compressor quits. Victor Mancini leads the team, and the people below are the ones you’ll actually see at your door.

Our People

Victor Mancini, Owner & Lead Technician

Victor founded Cold Harbour Heating and Air Fort Lauderdale in 2003 after years working on residential systems across Broward County. He’s a lead technician by trade, not just by title, and he’s the one who trains every tech on the 365-Day Done Right Promise and The Kingswell Way’s five values: say the price before the work, show up in the window given, leave the place cleaner than found, put the guarantee in writing, come back if it fails. Victor’s specialty is diagnostics, particularly refrigerant and airflow issues on aging Carrier and Trane systems. He’ll explain what a part does before he replaces it, and he rarely works a call without pointing out something about Florida humidity that made the problem worse than it had to be.

Dana R., Senior Installer

Dana has been installing air conditioning systems in Fort Lauderdale for 14 years, and she runs the install side of the house with a level of organization that borders on obsessive. She’s factory-trained on Carrier, Lennox, and Goodman equipment, and she handles the manual J load calculations that determine the right system size for a home before we ever order equipment. Dana grew up in Sunrise and knows the older housing stock in neighborhoods like Victoria Park and Sailboat Bend, where duct layouts often require custom fabrication rather than off-the-shelf fittings. Her rule on every job: the install isn’t done until the area is cleaner than it was when we arrived.

Mike T., Service Technician

Mike covers most of our repair calls, and he’s got a particular gift for furnace work, which is less common down here but absolutely necessary during the cold snaps that hit Fort Lauderdale in January when heat pumps and strip heaters get taxed. He holds his EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling and has completed advanced training on Trane and Rheem diagnostic tools. Mike keeps a logbook of every oddball fix he’s made, going back eight years, and he consults it more often than he’ll admit. He’s the one who will tell you plainly when a repair isn’t worth the money and a replacement makes more sense, because he’d rather lose the small job than sell you something that fails in six months.

Leena S., Service Coordinator

Leena is the voice you’ll most likely hear when you call (754) 354-7289, and she’s been with us since 2019. She manages the dispatch schedule, the parts ordering, and the written pricing sheets that go out before every job, making sure the number on the paper matches the number on the invoice. Leena grew up in Fort Lauderdale and still knows which neighborhoods flood in summer storms and which ones lose power first, which helps her set realistic arrival windows. She’s also the one who confirms every technician’s background check and keeps the guarantee paperwork organized, so when you call back about a repair within 365 days, she already has the file pulled up when she answers.

One Standard, Every Job

The Kingswell network spans independently owned and operated HVAC businesses around Florida, and we all work to the same written standards. For our Fort Lauderdale team, that means the price is on paper before any tool comes out, the guarantee is written and good for a full year, and the phone is always answered by a person, no matter the hour. Victor put the 365-Day Done Right Promise in place here because South Florida’s climate punishes systems hard, and a repair that barely worked in March might fail completely by July. If that happens, we come back and fix it at no charge. The standard isn’t aspirational; it’s what every one of the people above does on every call, every day.
